About Our Weekly Programs

Children painting on canvases in an art class.

BrushBugs weekly art classes are designed to give children a creative, welcoming space to explore art, develop artistic skills, and create meaningful projects they are proud to bring home.

Art Club is designed for elementary students who enjoy exploring a wide variety of materials and creating mixed-media projects. Students paint, draw, sculpt, build, stitch, and experiment with different techniques while developing creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and self-expression in a fun, encouraging environment.

Studio Arts is designed for students in 3rd grade and up who are ready to take their artistic skills to the next level. Students build strong foundations in observation, composition, perspective, color theory, shading, and artistic techniques through drawing and painting. While students are encouraged to explore both mediums, those with a special interest in drawing may choose to focus more deeply on drawing skills and techniques. Individual instruction allows each student to progress at their own pace while developing technical skills, creative confidence, and a personal artistic style.

Class sizes are intentionally small, with up to 6 students per class, allowing every student to receive individualized guidance and support.
